Global Tax Specialist | Rotterdam
Position
At the HQ of Caldic in Rotterdam a new position has arisen for a Global Tax Specialist who will be an integral part of the Global Tax team. As a Global Tax Specialist, you will report to the Global Tax Director. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive tax support across various corporate tax matters in different countries. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Global Tax Director on diverse tax projects, including internal and external tax audits. Your role will also involve contributing to numerical tax work within reporting processes.
More specifically the tasks and responsibilities are as follows:
- Providing day-to-day tax support to business operations and fostering internal tax awareness;
- Offering tax technical support to internal stakeholders and conducting ad-hoc tax analyses as needed;
- Enhancing both internal and external reporting processes;
- Managing tax provisioning and assisting various countries with tax pack filling, potentially focusing on specific regions;
- Managing and supporting internal and external tax audits, including tax technical analyses or litigation assistance;
- Supporting the Global Tax Director with various ad hoc projects, ranging from business restructurings to M&A transactions and specific reporting processes for a large US shareholder.
Candidate
You have a relevant degree and you have a around 5-8 years of experience within the international tax practice of advisory firms or in-house. Broad and thorough understanding of international corporate taxation is a must. You have a solid international tax knowledge as a tax advisor but you will also be involved in numerical work (including tax accounting and reporting).
