Tax Reporting Manager | Hoofddorp
Position
At the head office in Hoofddorp a new position of a Tax Reporting Manager has arisen. The Tax Reporting Manager is part of the Tax Team and reports to the Head of Tax (who reports to the CFO). The Tax Reporting Manager will be the primary contact for tax reporting within the group and manage the tax reporting processes within various international jurisdictions. As this is a small team you will be providing ad hoc tax support and advice and running several tax projects independently.
More specifically, the tasks and responsibilities include:
- Project management and delivery of solutions for global tax developments (such as ATAD, BEPS and Pillar 2);
- Initiate, coordinate and implement new tax technology within the Group. This in order to improve data flows, (real time) reporting and make sure implementation thereof is executed;
- Analyse the current tax reporting processes and procedures, analyse and implement approved synergies and share best practices;
- Review of tax reporting packages at the tax (hard) closes and preparation of (regional) summary reports with main findings;
- Preparation of annual Country-by-Country Report (CbCR);
- Review of ETR and tax accounting of group companies worldwide and to raise questions and/or provide feedback;
- Basic understanding of tax accounting principles and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of working with (tax/ financial) data and IT systems (such as SAP BPC and Power BI)
- Preparation of the consolidated financial statement disclosures regarding tax balances (current and deferred);
- Analyse the quarterly tax forecast and tax estimates of the Dutch entities;
- Assists in the preparation of annual corporate income tax return of the Dutch fiscal unity;
- Maintain a close relationship and strong cooperation between the finance and tax departments;
Candidate
The ideal candidate is in possession of a relevant master’s degree (e.g. accounting/finance/ economics/fiscal economics) and has gained at least 5 years of overall experience with accounting and/or tax and extensive knowledge of corporate income tax and tax accounting and reporting within a Big four or multinational company. You have affinity with Tax Automation. Your communication skills are on point and you have a strong personality. You enjoy working in a team and in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, you are decisive and not scared of taking the lead. English, proficiency (verbal and written) is essential, Dutch is a strong plus.
