Tax Manager

Position
At the corporate office of Tetra Laval in Amsterdam the new position has arisen for a Tax Manager. The Tax Manager reports to the Tax Director and will be part of the Tetra Laval Tax team based in Lausanne and Amsterdam.
The Tetra Laval Tax team provides strategic tax support for the group and the three divisions in the field of corporate tax, transfer pricing, indirect tax, custom duty and employment taxes. The Tax Manager is primarily focused on international corporate income tax and transfer pricing, provides advise in relation to local and cross border transactions of goods and services and will be driving various (ad hoc) tax and transfer pricing related projects. More specifically the tasks and responsibilities include:
- To keep up to date with tax legislations and drive projects where new legislation impacts the business. Advise and provide appropriate information to the concerned stakeholder(s) and Group Companies around the globe;
- To participate in projects and tasks relating to corporate tax, transfer pricing and compliance issues resulting from operations of Group Companies;
- To work together with the local finance teams and external advisors in relation to tax litigations, tax structuring and obtaining APA’s, involving corporate tax and transfer pricing matters;
- To advise and support businesses on direct tax matters and transfer pricing including, but not limited to:
- corporate income tax issues
- transfer pricing modelling and management
- internal training and information sessions
- domestic and international planning, research and compliance
- Cost avoidance and cash flow savings initiatives
- support business in tax audits and dispute resolution
- tax risk management and control
Candidate
- University degree in Tax Economics or Tax Law
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the domain of international corporate tax and/or transfer pricing gained at an industrial group, (BIG4) consulting environment or tax authorities
- Technology and data science experience / savviness being an asset
- Potential to develop and progress into a more senior role
- Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize and present complex matters in a clear way
- Good collaboration skills with peers, the business and senior level executives
- Excellent English, other languages an asset
- Ability and willingness to travel when required (10-20%)
