Tax Manager | Rotterdam

Position

Due to the grow of the international tax practice a new position has arisen for an International Tax Manager. He/she will be part of the international Tax Team. It concerns an independent role, where you service clients with respect to all their International corporate Tax Affairs and service them from A-Z. More specifically, the tasks and responsibilities will be:

Advising clients and colleagues in the field of (international) Corporate Tax andwithholding taxes;
Correct, timely and complete advice from (international) clients in the field of (international) tax law
Managing the client relationship and providing complex tax advice to those clients
Supervising and reviewing the work of Tax Associates and Tax Assistants, while contributing to their ongoing development and coaching them further in both technical and personal skills;
Managing and reviewing the activities of the Tax Associates and Tax Assistants andcoaching them to a higher level (both tax technical as well as personal skills)
Ensuring efficient processes management, and ensuring proper working methods within the Tax Team
Playing an active role in the further growth of the practice, including supporting new business development and the expansion of the client portfolio.

Candidate

  • Master’s degree in Dutch Tax Law or Fiscal Economics.
  • 4–6 years of experience in international tax, preferably in a consulting firm or in-house within a private equity or M&A-driven environment.
  • Solid knowledge of international direct tax law and transfer pricing; experience with VAT is an advantage.
  • Analytical, hands-on, and entrepreneurial: Ability to translate complex tax challenges into practical, business-focused solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, decentralized organization.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
