Marc Bunt has over 15 years of experience in international VAT and over 20 years in taxation in general. Marc started his career at Deloitte in the general tax practice. A few years later he moved to the business as in-house VAT manager at Flowserve. In this position Marc developed himself as senior in-house VAT manager and focused especially on VAT automation & technology. In 2012 Marc became Director the VAT automation practice at a niche company. In this capacity he worked as interim VAT specialist on various large VAT determination projects such as Vertex-O-series in combination with SAP as well as Sabrix (Thomson Reuters Onesource) with Oracle R12. Next to this, he gained a lot of experience in setting up and implementing a VAT reporting tool for 40+ countries.<\/p>\n

In 2017 he became an independent interim VAT specialist, doing VAT projects usually with a VAT automation angle. After several successfully executed projects, Marc became a partner at The Resource in 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_separator][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]\n

Marc is specialized in VAT technology and primarily interested in improving the entire VAT chain (system setup and software tools, people and processes) but his expertise is also in VAT software implementations (engines and reporting), robotics and general VAT management\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
