Tax Manager | Hengelo
Position
At the corporate office in in Hengelo a new position for a Manager International Tax Strategy has arisen. He/she will be reporting into the Director International Tax Strategy and will be part of the wider European and Global tax team. You will be supporting the Director International Tax Strategy with as well as independently working on international tax planning projects, managing tax compliance, tax accounting and tax audits.
Your key deliverables are:
- Responsible for all direct tax matters in designated countries within EMEA (specific countries assigned are The Netherlands and Switzerland).
- Support and manage on various international tax projects in the EMEA region.
- Coordinate tax return preparation, manage tax audits and other correspondence with tax authorities.
- Assist in business restructurings and M&A projects.
- Prepare tax calculations in the quarterly tax accounting process for designated countries.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and international developments and analyze tax risk and opportunities for Eaton and take required actions.
- Stay in touch and communicate with business operations to understand their business and potential impact of changes to the tax position of Eaton.
- Some travel is part of the role.
Candidate
- Educated at Master’s degree in Taxation
- Coming with at least 5 to 7 years of professional experience within a tax department for a multinational company or within an international advisory firm (Big Four).
- Possessing solid international Tax knowledge, and knowledge of Dutch and Swiss taxes.
- Ready to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities, and meet deadlines
- You are accurate and inclined to work in an inspiring, decisive and result-oriented way.
- An enthusiastic profile, who enables you to convince and bind people in a very international and multicultural setting.
- Possessing excellent interpersonal communications skills to interact with team members.
- Fluent in Dutch and English languages. French is a plus.
- Possible to work from home.
